Created by award-winning writer Peter Bowker (The A Word), the epic seven-part series tells the story of ordinary people from all sides of the global conflict of the Second World War.

World on Fire pieces together the stories of those who shaped our world as they traverse the ever-shifting lines between loyalty and brutality, and courage and fear, experience love and loss, and forge hopes and dreams in these extraordinary times.

The complete first season is released on DVD in the UK today from ITV Studios Global Entertainment.

It’s also available to watch on Digital Download now.
