‘1917’ trailer: Colin Firth and Benedict Cumberbatch star in new WW1 movie – watch!
The first trailer has been released for new World War 1 movie 1917.
Directed by Skyfall director Sam Mendes, who wrote the screenplay with Krysty Wilson-Cairns (Penny Dreadful), the movie is set at during the height of the First World War.
The incredible cast of British actors includes Colin Firth (Pride & Prejudice), Richard Madden (Bodyguard), Mark Strong (Shazam!), Daniel Mays (Line of Duty), Adrian Scarborough (Christopher Robin), Nabhaan Rizwan (Informer), Jamie Parker (Harry Potter and the Cursed Child).
1917 will also reunite Sherlock stars Benedict Cumberbatch and Andrew Scott.

The story follows two young British soldiers, Schofield (George MacKay) and Blake (Dean-Charles Chapman from Game of Thrones), who are given a seemingly impossible mission.
In a race against time, they must cross enemy territory and deliver a message that will stop a deadly attack on hundreds of soldiers— Blake’s own brother among them.
1917 will be released in the US on 25th December and then in the UK on 10th January 2020.
