Watch the ‘Call the Midwife’ cast do a parody of ‘One Born Every Minute’

Red Nose Day is back this week!

This year’s charity fundraiser for Comic Relief is airing on BBC One in the UK on Friday 19th March.

So it’s the perfect time to remind ourselves of this hilarious sketch by the Call the Midwife cast a few years ago…

Raising money in 2013, the Call the Midwife team parodied Channel 4’s One Born Every Minute, a British observational documentary series filmed in a hospital’s labour ward.

Red Nose Day launched in 1988 and donations help tackle important issues including homelessness, hunger, domestic abuse and mental health stigma, all of which have been impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic.

They support amazing organisations across the UK and around the world.

The tenth season of Call the Midwife recently finished filming and it’s set to premiere on BBC One in the UK this spring.

The seven new episodes will then air in the US later this year on PBS.

We’ve also been enjoying another look at the wonderful Downton Abbey parody that aired on Red Nose Day in 2011!

Season 9 is available on DVD on Amazon.
