‘Endeavour’ returns very soon: Watch the first trailer for Season 7!
The brand new season of Endeavour begins in the UK next month!
Shaun Evans and Roger Allam are both back as DS Endeavour Morse and DI Fred Thursday in three new feature-length episodes of ITV’s Inspector Morse prequel series.
Set in 1970, the seventh season will have “a strong, overarching plot connecting the three films” and the stories “will test Endeavour’s moral compass to breaking point, both personally and professionally.”
Endeavour writer Russell Lewis, who has written ever episode of the popular crime drama, previously teased: “Though each film can be enjoyed as a standalone – we have approached Endeavour 1970 as three panels of a triptych, or – in musical terms – a grand opera that unfolds across three acts. Whether it wears the mask of comedy or tragedy remains to be seen…”

Season 7 premieres at 8pm on Sunday 9th February on ITV in the UK.
The new episodes will air in the US later this year on PBS Masterpiece.
Endeavour creator Russell Lewis’s next project will see him adapt Peter James’ award winning Roy Grace novels for ITV, starring John Simm (Life on Mars).
An eighth season of Endeavour has already been confirmed for next year, although Lewis has warned fans that we’re “getting very near the end” of the show.
Season 6 is available on DVD on Amazon.
