ITV shares first trailer and preview images of new Hugh Bonneville drama ‘Douglas is Cancelled’

ITV has shared a preview trailer and official images for their new four-part drama Douglas Is Cancelled, starring Hugh Bonneville and Karen Gillan.

What is it about?

Douglas is Cancelled is a comedy drama that looks at the subject of cancel culture in the world of television news. 

Television star and national treasure Douglas Bellowes tells a sexist joke while attending a wedding. He doesn’t really remember what he said. Will his career and personal life survive the fallout when the details become public, and who is really on his side? 

Who is in it?

It stars Hugh Bonneville (Downton Abbey), Karen Gillan (Dr Who), Ben Miles (The Last Post), Alex Kingston (Dr Who), Nick Mohammed (Ted Lasso), Simon Russell Beale (The Deep Blue Sea) and is written by BAFTA-Winning screenwriter Steven Moffat (Sherlock, Dracula, Dr Who).
