‘Peaky Blinders’ recap: Catch up on Seasons 1-4 with a poem (really) – watch!
When a show’s been running for a few years, we always need a good recap when it returns.
We’ve never seen a recap quite as inspired or beautiful as this though!
Peaky Blinders is back in the UK this weekend with the first of six new episodes, moving to BBC One as a result of its popularity.
Ahead of the crime saga’s return at 9pm on Sunday night, spoken word artist Casey Bailey has written and performed “The Ballad of the Peaky Blinders,” recapping the previous four seasons.
A teacher turned rapper, Casey Bailey is a poet, author, writer, spoken word performer, song writer and a secondary school senior leader from Birmingham.
Watch the recap:
The hit period drama series about a crime family in Birmingham, England in the 1920s launched on BBC Two in 2013 and the show’s creator has hinted that he expects the show to run for at least another two seasons.
Season 5 will premiere internationally on Netflix later in 2019.
Peaky Blinders is available on DVD on Amazon.
