Highclere Castle is most recognisable as the country house used in Downton Abbey – but what’s it really like?

Designed by architect Charles Barry, best known for his role in the rebuilding of London’s Houses of Parliament, the 5,000-acre estate is located near Berkshire in Hampshire, England.
