‘Victoria’ writer reveals if there will be a fourth season

Here’s some brilliant news for Victoria fans!

The third season of ITV’s historical drama series draws to a close tomorrow night in the UK, but the show’s writer has confirmed that a fourth season is already in the works.

Jenna Coleman (Doctor Who) and Tom Hughes (The Game) returned as Queen Victoria and Prince Albert in eight new episodes earlier this year.

Victoria creator Daisy Goodwin recently announced: “I am working on Series 4 at the moment…”

Goodwin hinted that the fourth season will be “an absolute humdinger, because… well, you can go to Wikipedia to find out!”

Filming is set to begin in the UK this summer and we’d expect Season 4 to be broadcast in early 2020.

Controversially, the latest season of Victoria was first shown in America on PBS before it aired in the UK.

Season 3 is available on DVD on Amazon.
