Britbox and ITV have announced when the new Bletchley Circle spin-off will premiere.
The follow-up to ITV’s mystery drama series features two of the original lead characters – Julie Graham as Jean and Rachael Stirling as Millie – in America as they join up with two American codebreakers to investigate a string of new murder cases.
The Bletchley Circle: San Francisco begins at 9pm on Wednesday 25 July on ITV in the UK.
It then launches in the US on Britbox on Thursday 26 July.
The official synopsis for the four two-part standalone stories reads: “Set during the thrilling social change of the mid-1950s, The Bletchley Circle: San Francisco captures the lives of four remarkable women gifted with extraordinary intelligence, breathtaking capacity for pattern recognition, and a genius for decryption.
“Years after secretly serving during WWII as code-breakers, they turn their skills to solving murders overlooked by the police.”
