Will there be a fourth season of ‘The Durrells’?

The third season of The Durrells hasn’t even finished yet, but the show’s future looks bright.

Based upon Gerald Durrell’s classic trilogy of Corfu memoirs, The Durrells launched in April 2016 and the latest run is currently airing in the UK at 8pm on Sunday nights.

While another season hasn’t yet been officially confirmed by ITV, British newspaper The Guardian reports that “a fourth series is in preparation.”

The hit family drama series tells the story of Louisa Durrell, who decides to uproot her four spirited and unruly children to start a new life in Corfu in the 1930s.

Season 1 and Season 2 are available to buy on DVD now.

The third season of The Durrells in Corfu will air in the US later this year on PBS.
