2020’s best British period drama TV series revealed – as voted by you!

Most of us spent more time inside over the past year than usual due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Fortunately, 2020 gave us some wonderful new television shows to watch.

Highlights included adaptations of Bridgerton, A Suitable Boy, The Pale Horse, Black Narcissus, The Singapore Grip, and Dracula, plus the US premiere of Sanditon, and not one but two new series from Downton creator Julian Fellowes with The English Game and Belgravia.

All these alongside returning favourites like Outlander, Call the Midwife, Endeavour, The Crown, Father Brown, and Grantchester.

Over the past few months, we asked you to vote for 2020’s best British period drama series, mini-series, or TV movie.
