Watch ‘Downton Abbey’ stars reveal their funniest encounters with fans!
Some of the Downton Abbey cast have revealed the most awkward requests they’ve had from fans.
The stars of ITV’s hit period drama series shot to fame when the show launched in 2010 – and with that fame came having to deal with being recognised in public… and some weird encounters with Downton followers.
Hugh Bonneville (Robert), Penelope Wilton (Imogen), Laura Carmichael (Edith), Joanne Froggatt (Anna)), and Michelle Dockery (Mary) have shared some of these hilarious fan requests in a video with Access Hollywood:
The much-anticipated sequel to 2019’s first Downton Abbey movie is set to begin filming this summer, with Mr Carson actor Jim Carter promising that “all the regular characters” will return.
Hugh Bonneville, who plays Sir Robert, recently gave us the latest update: “There is a script, it has been written and seen, but a little thing called coronavirus got in the way of us filming it. It would be lovely to think that later this year the cameras could start rolling.”
The plan is still for the second movie to be released in cinemas in 2022, so cross your fingers!
