PBS confirms ‘Endeavour’ return: When does Season 7 start in the US?
Endeavour will be back on US screens this summer!
Shaun Evans and Roger Allam reprised their roles as DS Endeavour Morse and DI Fred Thursday earlier this year in the UK.
The three new feature-length episodes of ITV’s Inspector Morse prequel series are set in 1970.
The seventh season of Endeavour will premiere in the US on Masterpiece on PBS at 9pm ET on Sunday 9th August.
Watch the trailer:
Endeavour writer Russell Lewis previously revealed: “We’re always looking to break new ground, and go places we haven’t been before – both physically and emotionally.
“Though each film can be enjoyed as a standalone – we have approached Endeavour 1970 as three panels of a triptych, or – in musical terms – a grand opera that unfolds across three acts. Whether it wears the mask of comedy or tragedy remains to be seen…”
The first six seasons of Endeavour are available to watch on Amazon Prime and if you’re not already a member you can sign up for a free 30-day trial here!
Watch the cast discuss what’s coming up in Season 7:
Endeavour creator Russell Lewis’s next project is an adaptation of Peter James’ award winning Roy Grace novels for ITV, starring Life on Mars actor John Simm.
An eighth season of Endeavour has already been confirmed for 2021, although Lewis has hinted that we’re “getting very near the end” of the show.
Season 6 is available on DVD on Amazon.
