Watch the trailer for Netflix’s movie ‘Enola Holmes’ about Sherlock’s sister!

Enola Holmes arrives on Netflix next week and we’ve now got the first trailer.

Based on Nancy Springer’s book series about the younger sister of Sherlock Holmes, the new adventure movie stars Stranger Things actress Millie Bobby Brown as the titular young detective.

The cast also includes Henry Cavill (Batman vs Superman) as Sherlock Holmes, Sam Claflin (Peaky Blinders) as Mycroft Holmes, and Helena Bonham Carter (The Crown) as their mother Eudoria.

Enola Holmes will be available to watch worldwide exclusively on Netflix from Friday 23rd September.

Springer’s books have been adapted by Killing Eve director Harry Bradbeer and Harry Potter and the Cursed Child writer Jack Thorne.

The official synopsis reads: “When Enola Holmes—Sherlock’s teen sister—discovers her mother missing, she sets off to find her, becoming a super-sleuth in her own right as she outwits her famous brother and unravels a dangerous conspiracy around a mysterious young Lord.”
