BritBox announces ‘Father Brown’ Season 10 premiere date for US fans
It’s been revealed when American viewers can see the latest episodes of Father Brown!
Based on the stories by GK Chesterton, the BBC’s popular period crime drama returned in the UK with a tenth run earlier this year.
The show celebrated its 100th episode in 2022, and the new season is the biggest daytime drama of the year so far in the UK.
Starring Harry Potter actor Mark Williams, Father Brown follows the titular cleric’s mystery-solving skills in the sleepy Cotswold village of Kembleford during the early 1950s.
In the tenth season, it’s now 1954 and some new faces are joining Father Brown’s team of sleuths.
Tom Chambers (Holby City) is back as the dashing Chief Inspector Sullivan, proving a pleasant distraction for Mrs. Devine (Claudie Blakey, Pride & Prejudice), Father Brown’s lively new Parish Secretary.
Meanwhile, while plucky new housekeeper Brenda (Ruby-May Martinwood, Taboo) also finds herself joining in with the priest’s crime solving.

With royal visits, kidnappings and notorious gangsters to contend with, Father Brown also faces his old adversary Flambeau (John Light, North & South) who returns to Kembleford after being accused of murder. Father Brown risks his own life to prove his innocence – but is his faith in Flambeau misplaced?
When’s the release date on BritBox?

Back in the UK, all of Season 10 is already streaming on BBC iPlayer.

“It’s an honour to be returning to Father Brown for an eleventh series of warmth, drama and humour, as well as sleuthing with my partners in crime solving,” said star Mark Williams. “It’s also always a treat to film in the beautiful Cotswolds.”
Season 11 is expected to premiere in early 2024.
