Autumn half-term brings Fireman Sam and kids workshops to Guildford

G Live in Guildford has announced a great line-up of events for the upcoming half-term holiday!

With schools in England taking a week-long break at the end of next month, the venue has lots on to keep the kids entertained.

Three half-term workshops are running across the week, with Acting Through Song on Tuesday 24 October, Play in a Day on Wednesday 25 October, and Dance in a Day on Thursday 26 October.

Tickets for all there workshops are on sale now priced £40, open to children aged 7-11 and running from 10am to 4pm each day.

There’s also a free Family Fun Day on Saturday 28 October, opening the doors to the community inviting people of all ages to come in get creative.

G Live also welcomes the original “hero next door” to Guildford on Tuesday 24 October with two performances of the Fireman Sam live show at 12pm and 3.30pm!

“When all of his friends go away, Norman Price decides to find adventure in Pontypandy and become the star of a visiting circus. But with a tiger on the loose and faulty lights, the adventure soon turns to danger. Can Fireman Sam come to the rescue and save the circus?

“Join Sam, Penny, Elvis, Station Officer Steele and Norman in an all singing, dancing, action-packed show. You can become a fire-fighter cadet and then watch the magic of the circus.”

Tickets for Fireman Sam Saves the Circus are priced from £19.50, with a 4-person family ticket available for £76.

Looking ahead to the festive season, G Live has also revealed a great selection of shows coming up in December, including Sophie Ellis-Bextor’s Christmas Kitchen Disco and a performance of Handel’s Messiah by Guildford Choral!
