First look at ‘Downton Abbey’ star in second season of ‘The Crown’
The trailer for the new season of The Crown includes a sneak peek of Downton Abbey actor Matthew Goode’s character.
Matthew Goode, who played Lady Mary’s love interest Henry Talbot in the final two seasons of Downton, will be playing society photographer Lord Snowdon in The Crown.
Antony Armstrong-Jones, to use his full name, was married to Princess Margaret from 1960 until 1978 and died earlier this year.
10 new episodes of The Crown will be available on Netflix from Friday 8 December, covering the period from 1956 to 1964.

The official synopsis for Season 2 reads: “As Queen Elizabeth’s marriage and empire crumbles around her, she must do what is required to ensure the British monarchy survives.”
