Traces – Season 1 (available from 5th January 2021)
Twenty-three-year-old chemistry graduate Emma Hedges has got a new job at The Scottish Institute of Forensic Science and Anatomy. Excited, and keen to boost her knowledge, she joins an online forensic science course. But the case study it features – a woman’s remains discovered on Dundee Law – is eerily familiar. She knows this story. It’s her story.
Eighteen years ago, that’s how her mother’s body was found. With help from her new bosses – two eminent forensic scientists – and a committed detective, Emma follows the trail of evidence, plunging her into a live police investigation.
Starring BAFTA-winning Molly Windsor (Three Girls, Cheat) Laura Fraser (Breaking Bad, Single Father), Martin Compston (Line of Duty, In Plain Sight) and Jennifer Spence (The Bletchley Circle: San Francisco, Travelers), follow Emma’s journey to finally uncovering the truth of what happened to her mum all of those years ago.
Benidorm – Seasons 6-10 (available from 8th January 2021)
Welcome to Benidorm: the number one destination for fun in the sun. Fabulously tacky, every year holiday-makers descend upon the Solana Resort, and hilarity ensues as guests try to get the biggest bang for their buck. Every year the same group of loud, lovable bargain-hunters leave the cold and grey of home and check in at the Solana Resort for some wonderful holiday heat.
Guests include the Garvey family, on their first holiday abroad, paid for by the sun-worshipping, chain-smoking mother-in-law, who doesn’t have a kind word for anyone; and married couple Jacqueline and Donald, who have been coming to Benidorm for twenty years and are enthusiastic, middle-aged swingers.
Along with an entertaining cast of Solana employees — barman Mateo, who flirts with anything that breathes, and Janey, the hotel manager and cabaret M.C. at Neptune’s bar – expect libidos running wild, crazy money making scams backfiring, endless rounds of drinks, romances, family feuds, and mischief by the pool.

But maintaining a job, friendships and a relationship becomes harder and harder, as details of her past begin to emerge.
With a star-studded cast including Suranne Jones (Scott & Bailey, Single Father), Peter Davison (The Last Detective, All Creatures Great and Small), Siobhan Finneran (A Confession, Downton Abbey), Jemma Redgrave (Cold Blood, Mansfield Park) and Douglas Hodge (MI-5, Mansfield Park), this deeply gripping, character-driven thriller is filled with sacrifice, revenge and the irrevocable power of fate as the ripples of Ruth’s past gain momentum.
