‘The Durrells’ returning cast confirmed: Who’ll be back in Season 4?

The final season of The Durrells begins filming on Corfu soon.

It was announced earlier this month that the fourth season of the popular period drama series, based upon Gerald Durrell’s classic trilogy of Corfu memoirs, will be the show’s last.

Executive producer Sally Woodward Gentle explained: “It has been such an incredible journey following this warm and enchanting family come of age, but their adventures on the island have reached a natural conclusion.”

Now ITV has confirmed which cast members will return for the last ever episodes of The Durrells.

Keeley Hawes (Bodyguard) will be back as Louisa Durrell, alongside Josh O’Connor (The Crown) as Laurence, Callum Woodhouse (Cold Feet) as Leslie, Daisy Waterstone (And Then There Were None) as Margo and Milo Parker (Mr Holmes) as Gerry.

They’ll be joined by Alexis Georgoulis (My Life In Ruins) as Spiros, Miles Jupp (Howards End) as cousin Basil, Anna Savva (Genius) as housekeeper Lugaretzia, Yorgos Karamihos (Love Is…) as Dr. Theo Stephanides and Lucy Black (Jericho) as Florence Petridis.

Season 4 will air in the UK in spring 2019 on ITV and in the USA at a later date.

The Durrells is available to buy on DVD now.

Season 3 premieres in the US on Sunday 30 September at 8/7c on Masterpiece on PBS.
