‘The Durrells’ story details revealed for Season 3 Episode 7
New story hints have been revealed for the next episode of The Durrells.
The hit family drama series continues on UK screens at 8pm next Sunday on ITV.
The official synopsis for the seventh episode of The Durrells‘ third season reads: “Louisa finds it more than a little awkward when Larry invites Henry Miller to stay. Insisting on walking around naked, the liberal contents of Henry’s novels raise heated discussions within the family.
“Meanwhile, with the Greek government clamping down on ‘immoral behaviour’, Sven is arrested due to his sexuality.
“Larry is incensed and demands Margo obtain books on miscarriages of justice and fighting fascism from the Countess. However, learning that she is not permitting anyone to enter her villa, Larry takes matters into his own hands.
“With Spiros still missing his family, Louisa realises that the two men she loves the most on the island need rescuing. But if she is honest with herself, does she really want Spiros’ wife to return?
“Louisa’s cousin Basil also makes a surprise appearance on the island, and the family anxiously wait for news on Hermione’s estate. ”
Based upon Gerald Durrell’s classic trilogy of Corfu memoirs, The Durrells launched on ITV in April 2016.
The series tells the story of Louisa Durrell, who decides to uproot her four spirited and unruly children to start a new life in Corfu in the 1930s.
Season 1 and Season 2 are available to buy on DVD now.
The third season of The Durrells in Corfu will air in the US later this year on PBS.
