‘War & Peace’ team return with epic ‘Vanity Fair’ adaptation – watch the trailer!
ITV has unveiled a stunning new trailer for its upcoming Vanity Fair mini-series.
From the makers of the BBC’s acclaimed 2016 adaptation of War & Peace, the seven-part period drama is set against the backdrop of the Napoleonic Wars.
Vanity Fair follows Becky Sharp, played by Olivia Cooke (Ready Player One, Bates Motel), as she attempts to claw her way out of poverty and scale the heights of English Society.

English novelist William Makepeace Thackeray’s classic novel was first published as a 19-volume monthly serial from 1847 to 1848 and is often considered to be the “principal founder” of the Victorian domestic novel.
The cast also includes Johnny Flynn (Genius), Martin Clunes (Doc Martin), Frances de La Tour (The History Boys), Suranne Jones (Doctor Foster), Michael Palin (Monty Python), Tom Bateman (Murder on the Orient Express), Charlie Rowe (Salvation), Claudia Jessie (Line of Duty), Simon Russell Beale (Spooks) and Claire Skinner (Outnumbered).
Vanity Fair will air in the UK this autumn on ITV and will premiere in the US as an Amazon Prime Exclusive.
