A fascinating new video has been released online taking a look behind the scenes at the making of Darkest Hour.
The 5-minute featurette explores the amazing make-up techniques used to make actor Gary Oldman look like British Prime Minister Winston Churchill in the award-winning British war drama.
Directed by Atonement director Joe Wright, Darkest Hour was nominated for six Oscars at last month’s Academy Awards, including Best Picture, and won for the awards for Best Actor and Best Makeup and Hairstyling.
Oldman reportedly spent over 200 hours getting make-up applied as Churchill during the filming of the movie.
