US start date confirmed for Agatha Christie’s ‘The Pale Horse’ – watch the trailer!

Amazon Prime has announced when The Pale Horse will premiere in the US.

Based on the 1961 novel by Agatha Christie, the BBC’s recent adaptation comes from award-winning screenwriter Sarah Phelps (The ABC Murders).

The cast is led by Rufus Sewell (VictoriaThe Marvellous Mrs. Maisel) as Mark Easterbrook, alongside Kaya Scodelario (Skins), Bertie Carvel (Doctor Foster), Sean Pertwee (Elementary), Henry Lloyd-Hughes (Indian Summers), Poppy Gilbert (Call the Midwife) and Claire Skinner (Vanity Fair).

The Pale Horse will be available to watch in the US on Amazon Prime from Friday 13th March.

The official synopsis reads: “Based on the Agatha Christie novel of the same name, it follows the story of Mark Easterbrook whose name appears on a list found inside the shoe of a dead woman. He begins an investigation into how and why his name came to appear on the list which leads him to The Pale Horse, the home of three rumored witches.”

House star Hugh Laurie is currently developing a brand new Agatha Christie adaptation for the BBC.
