When does ‘Vanity Fair’ start on ITV?
ITV has confirmed the start date for its new Vanity Fair adaptation.
Based on English novelist William Makepeace Thackeray’s classic 1847 novel, the seven-part period drama begins in the UK at 9pm on Sunday 2 September on ITV.
The second episode of Vanity Fair will air the following night, at 9pm on Monday 3 September on ITV.
The remaining five episodes of the mini-series will then be broadcast on Sunday nights.
Set against the backdrop of the Napoleonic Wars, in a world where everyone is striving for what is not worth having, no-one is more determined to climb to the heights of English Society than Miss Rebecca Sharp (Bates Motel star Olivia Cooke).
