Season 4 finished filming in Cornwall earlier this year and is expected to begin on BBC One in the UK next month.
Set in 1796, the eight new episodes will see Ross defend Cornwall from an empowered George Warleggan, while Demelza finds her loyalties torn and Elizabeth tries to strengthen her marriage.
The complete first and second seasons of Poldark are available to buy on DVD now.
Season 4 will air in the US later this year on Masterpiece on PBS.
