Apple shares trailer for new Saoirse Ronan WWII film ‘Blitz’

Apple TV has shared the trailer for Sir Steve McQueen’s upcoming WWII drama Blitz starring Saoirse Ronan and newcomer child actor Elliott Heffernan. The film is due to debut at the BFI film festival on October 9th.
Academy Award and BAFTA winner Steve McQueen is best known as the writer and director of 12 Years a Slave, Shame, and Widows.

Sir Ian McKellen taking a break for the rest of the year after stage fall

Sir Ian McKellen has told the BBC that he plans to take the rest of the year off to aid his recovery after his terrifying fall in June. The veteran actor broke his wrist and damaged a vertebra when fell off the stage into the audience while playing John Falstaff during a performance of Player Kings at the Noel Coward theatre.
