If you thought it was hard to understand the Cornish accent in Poldark, that’s nothing compared to learning it!
Based on Winston Graham’s series of novels, the hit Cornish period drama returns for a fourth season this weekend.
The BBC has released a very funny clip of Australian actor Harry Richardson, who plays Drake Carne in Poldark, trying to perfect his Cornish accent with his co-stars:

Season 4 will air in the UK on Sunday nights this summer at 9pm on BBC One from 10 June and finds Ross defending Cornwall from an empowered George Warleggan, embarking on a political journey which takes him all the way to Westminster.
The new episodes will air in the US later this year.
The BBC recently confirmed that Poldark will be back for a fifth season.
