The third season has only just finished airing on BBC One, but the Poldark team are already beginning work on next year’s episodes.
The Hobbit star Aidan Turner will return as Ross Poldark for a fourth season of the Cornish period drama in 2018.
It’s not yet been confirmed how many episodes there will be, but previous seasons have contained between 8 and 10 instalments.
The official Poldark Facebook page has shared a sneak peek at production on Season 4, with a look at scripts and the show’s cast attending the first read-through ahead of filming.
Season 3 will premiere in the US this October.
Aidan Turner confirmed recently that the series will probably come to an end with its fifth season.
The complete first and second seasons of Poldark are available to buy on DVD now.
Rumours emerged last week that Poldark could become a West End musical.
