The ‘Downton Abbey’ movie has finished filming – watch a celebratory video!
Downton Abbey fans are now one step closer to seeing the long-awaited movie.
Continuing the story from ITV’s hit period drama series, the big screen spin-off began filming in September in September and the shoot wrapped yesterday after 50 days.
The official Downton Abbey page on Facebook has released a lovely little video celebrating the completion of filming “143 unforgettable scenes.”

With a script written by Downton creator Julian Fellowes, the film will see all the regular cast reprise their roles, with the exception of one big star.
The currently untitled Downton Abbey movie will be released in 2019 on Friday 13th September in UK cinemas and on Friday 20th September in the USA.
