Watch a PBS summer preview, featuring a first look at new Endeavour:

The official Season 6 synopsis from PBS reads: “It’s 1969, and in Season 6, more has changed for Endeavour Morse than just his facial hair (see his impressive ‘stache) as he’s back in uniform and unwelcome in his efforts to help solve the case of a missing ten-year-old girl.

“Endeavour, Thursday, and the detectives of Cowley Station are demoted, powerless, and scattered across the countryside, suffering the blowback from George Fancy’s murder.

“But it’s Oxford and there are murders to solve, so get ready for an epic season, replete with ’60s swingers, rock, opera, crosswords, and—with any luck—our heroes riding in the classic red Jaguar, once again, side-by-side.”

Season 7 was confirmed earlier this year and next year’s episodes begin filming in Oxford, England very soon.

Season 6 is available on DVD on Amazon.
