‘Ghosts’ movie ‘The Possession Of Button House’ reveals first trailer

We’ve got our first look at the upcoming Ghosts movie today!

A feature-length film based on the much-missed BBC comedy began filming in Surrey earlier this year, with all the main cast from the TV series reprising their roles.

From the makers of Horrible Histories, Ghosts was a massive hit with audiences young and old during its five-season run on BBC One.

Ghosts: The Possession of Button House will arrive in cinemas in the UK and Ireland just in time for Halloween, with a release date set for Friday 23 October.

Producer Alison Carpenter has promised that “die-hard fans and newcomers are in for a real treat.”

“We thought we had said goodbye to Button House at the end of the final series,” the team previously revealed. “We never planned to come back. But when we had the idea for this story, we all got so excited that we couldn’t resist returning to our haunted home for one more adventure.”

“We can’t wait to be together and to welcome some brilliant new faces, to tell this soul-stirring tale of life and death,” they added.

Ghosts: The Possession of Button House has been directed by regular Ghosts director Simon Hynd.
