All Creatures Great and Small is heading back to the Yorkshire Dales, with Series 7 due to arrive on 5 in the UK this September!

What is it about?
The new six-part series moves the story into 1946. With the Second World War finally over, Skeldale House is full once again as its residents begin adjusting to life in peacetime, although it isn’t going to be quiet for long.
James now has a young family as well as greater responsibility at the veterinary practice, while changes in veterinary medicine promise to bring some additional challenges.
Who is in the cast?
Nicholas Ralph returns as James Herriot, alongside Rachel Shenton as Helen, Samuel West as Siegfried Farnon, Callum Woodhouse as Tristan and Anna Madeley as Mrs Hall.
There is also a new face in town.
Belfast actor Caolan McCarthy joins the cast as rival vet Granville Bennett, whose arrival looks set to shake things up at Skeldale.
Other returning cast members include Patricia Hodge as Mrs Pumphrey, Maimie McCoy returns as Mrs Hall’s friend Dorothy and Gaia Wise as socialite Charlotte Beauvoir.
Series 7 will consist of six hour-long episodes, followed by another Christmas special. An exact UK premiere date has yet to be announced but we will confirm it as soon as possible.

Series 1-6 are currently available to watch on My5 in the UK.
Series 2 is available to stream on Netflix UK and Ireland.
US viewers will have to wait a little longer. All Creatures Great and Small Series 7 premieres on MASTERPIECE on PBS on 17 January 2027 at 9/8c. It will be shown on PBS and streaming via PBS Passport, PBS.org and the PBS Masterpiece Prime Video channel.
