Bridgerton star Regé-Jean Page to star alongside Pierce Brosnan in new spy thriller ‘Black Bag’
Deadline has confirmed that Bridgerton star Regé-Jean Page’s next film Black Bag will arrive in cinemas on March 14, 2025. The spy thriller is Page’s first collaboration with director Steven Soderbergh.
Who is in it?
The film has assembled an impressive line up of cast members, including Pierce Brosnan, Michael Fassbender, Cate Blanchett, Marisa Abela, Naomie Harris, and Tom Burke.

Regé-Jean Page achieved overnight success when he appeared as Simon Bassett, Duke of Hastings in the first series of Bridgerton in 2020. Fans of the series were disappointed when he decided not to return for the second and third series. He has since appeared in the film The Gray Man and Dungeons and Dragons: Honour Among Thieves.

Who is behind it?
The film will be directed by Steven Soderbergh (Ocean’s Eleven, Traffic, Magic Mike) and is written by David Koepp (Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, The Mummy). The producers are Casey Silver and Greg Jacobs.
When will it be released?
Black Bag will be released in cinemas on March 14, 2025.
