‘Downton Abbey’ movie star says the cast have forgotten the plot

With production almost ready to go on the Downton Abbey movie, there’s just one problem; the cast can’t remember what happens!

Following many years of rumours, speculation and false starts, the movie finally begins filming “any minute now.”

Logan, who played housekeeper Mrs Hughes in ITV’s hit period drama series, told Zoe Ball on Sunday at the weekend that it’s now been so long since she saw the script, she’s forgotten what the plot is about.

She joked: “We’ve sort of forgotten! We got shown one night about a hundred years ago. But yes there’s a script.”

The Girlfriends actress added: “It’s going to be marvellous.”

Directed by Brian Percival (The Book Thief, North & South), the film’s script has been written by Downton creator Julian Fellowes.

Downton Abbey: The Complete Collection is available to buy now.

The Downton Abbey movie is expected to be released in cinemas in early 2019, but an official date has yet been confirmed.
