Jenna Coleman reveals first look at ‘Victoria’ Season 3 as filming begins
Filming has begun on the third season of Victoria.
Jenna Coleman (Doctor Who) and Tom Hughes (The Game) returned to their roles as Queen Victoria and Prince Albert last month on Victoria Day, the anniversary of Queen Victoria’s birthday.
One of ITV’s most successful dramas, Victoria has now been sold to 189 countries around the world.
Following the success of Season 2 last year, ITV announced the commission of eight new episodes in December.
Coleman marked the start of filming by posting a photo of herself in costume on Instagram, commenting: “Guess who back. Blue eyes back #crackingwallpaper @victoriaseries #6babies”
Season 3 is expected to air in the UK this autumn on ITV and on Masterpiece on PBS in early 2019 in the US.
The first season of Victoria is available now on DVD.
Jenna Coleman will also be back on our screens in the BBC’s new TV adaptation of Helen FitzGerald’s novel The Cry later this year.
