UK start date confirmed for ‘Outlander’ actors’ Scottish road trip ‘Men in Kilts’
It’s finally been revealed when Men in Kilts: A Roadtrip with Sam and Graham premieres in the UK.
The eight-part documentary series sees Outlander actors Sam Heughan and Graham McTavish embark on a road trip together around Scotland.
The pair are best known for playing Jamie Fraser and Dougal Mackenzie in the historical fantasy drama series.
Described as “two blokes on the adventure of a lifetime,” Men in Kilts: A Roadtrip with Sam and Graham launched on Starz in the US back in February.
American viewers can catch up on the series with the Starz channel on Amazon Prime Video.
It’s now been announced that Men in Kilts will be available to stream in the UK from Sunday 9th May on StarzPlay.

The series celebrates the rich history and culture of Scotland, with the two Outlander stars meeting a variety of local experts and visiting a variety of interesting locations, including the Culloden battlefield and Glencoe.
The official synopsis reads: “The journey of Men in Kilts: A Roadtrip with Sam and Graham takes viewers from the heart of Scotland at Glencoe, the site of a great massacre and major clan feud to Inverness and the Culloden battlefield, the site of a great battle and historic turning point, known well to fans of Outlander, that molded Scotland as we know it today.”
Executive producer Holly Jacobs previously commented: “We are so excited to take viewers on this epic adventure with Sam and Graham. Their bond of friendship and genuine curiosity about the rich culture of Scotland is going to make for an unforgettable journey for all.”
Based on the sixth book in Diana Gabaldon’s series, A Breath of Snow and Ashes, the new season of Outlander is filming right now following delays due to the coronavirus pandemic.
