‘Miss Scarlet’ renewed for a sixth season
Masterpiece and PBS have confirmed that the ever popular series will return for a sixth season. The series will commence filming this month in Belgrade, Serbia.
Who is coming back?
Kate Philips (The Crown, Wolf Hall) will return as the eponymous Miss Scarlet, along with a number of the cast regulars, including Tom Durant-Pritchard as DI Alexander Blake, Cathy Belton as Ivy, Paul Bazely as Clarence, Simon Ludders as Mr. Potts, Tim Chipping as Detective Phelps, and Ansu Kabia as Moses.
This season will also see the introduction of Sam Buchanan as the new, young ambitious Detective George Willows who joins Scotland Yard and Grace Hogg-Robinson as Isabel Summers, a young clerical assistant who will work together with Ivy.
What is this series about?
Life goes on for Eliza. In this season her relationship with Blake starts to develop to the point that working together may be a tricky prospect indeed.
Ivy and Potts finally get to enjoy life as a married couple, while Nash (Felix Scott) still manages to cause trouble, even from the other side of the world.
Fans of the series will be happy to see the return of Moses Valentine, who steps in to help Eliza and her crew, just when they are most in need.
