New ‘Game of Thrones’ trailer confirms Season 8 start date
HBO has announced the exact date for the return of Game of Thrones.
Based on George R.R. Martin’s fantasy saga, Game of Thrones began in 2011 and 67 episodes have aired so far.
Fans learned last month that the eighth season would premiere this April, almost two years after the previous season’s debut in summer 2017.
A brand new trailer has now revealed that Game of Thrones is back in the USA on Sunday 14th April on HBO.

It’s also been confirmed that the new season will be simulcast in the UK, with the first episode of Season 8 airing at 2am on Monday 15th April on Sky Atlantic.
Each episode will then be repeated at the more reasonable hour of 9pm on Monday nights.
The final season of Game of Thrones will consist of just six parts, but HBO boss Richard Plepler recently described the feature-length episodes as “spectacular.”
He told Variety: “The guys have done six movies. The reaction I had while watching them was, ‘I’m watching a movie.'”
The complete Season 1-7 box set is available on DVD on Amazon.
