It’s been confirmed when the final season of Peaky Blinders will debut on Netflix worldwide!
The hit period drama series began on BBC Two in 2013, telling the story of a crime family in Birmingham, England in the early 20th century.
It wasn’t all positive news, however, as fans were hit with the blow that – despite an original plan for seven seasons – Peaky Blinders would be coming to an end.
Luckily, while Season 6 will be the show’s last ever run of episodes on television, a Peaky Blinders movie is due to start shooting next year.
But we’ve still got the final six instalments of the TV series to enjoy first.
Season 6’s opening episode, ‘Black Day’, achieved record ratings with an incredible 3.8 million overnight viewers.
The finale is set to air on BBC One on Sunday 3rd April.
As Netflix prefers to drop entire seasons of its shows in one go, we had hoped that Season 6 might premiere on Netflix later next month.
Season 5 concluded in the UK on 22nd August 2019, then arrived on Netflix in the US six weeks later on 4th October 2019.
Sadly, it looks like Peaky fans have got a bit longer to wait this time.
Netflix officially revealed yesterday that all six episodes of Season 6 will premiere in the US – and worldwide in all countries where they have the rights to the show – on Friday 10th June.
