Here’s how YOU can get tickets for ‘Poldark’ Season 5 premiere in Cornwall!
Poldark is back soon and the public can apply for free tickets to the premiere later this month.
The final season of Poldark will be launched with a lavish premiere at the Regal Theatre in Redruth, Cornwall on Thursday 20th June.
Walking the red carpet will be Eleanor Tomlinson (Demelza Poldark), Jack Farthing (George Warleggan), Luke Norris (Dr Dwight Enys) and Ellise Chappell (Morwenna Carne), with writer Debbie Horsfield and executive producer Karen Thrussell.
Following the screening, they’ll all be taking part in a live Q&A hosted by BBC Radio Cornwall’s Debbie McCrory.
Actress Eleanor Tomlinson commented: “Cornwall is the heart of Poldark and I’m delighted to be returning to give our series the send-off it deserves, surrounded by the Cornish fans, without whom the series would not have been the success it is.
“Thank you for your constant support. I look forward to seeing you on the twentieth of June!”
Her co-star Luke Norris added: “I can’t wait to get back to Cornwall and share a sneak-preview of Poldark series five with some of the fans who have kept us going these past five years. It’s been a magical time for all of us, thanks largely to the county and its people, and I will always be grateful for their support.”
More than 300 tickets for the premiere are being made available to the public through the BBC’s Shows and Tours website.
The BBC says that “tickets are likely to be oversubscribed so will be allocated through a random draw.”
You must register before 5.30pm on Friday 7th June and you can apply for a maximum of two tickets.
Season 5 is expected to begin on BBC One in July and it’ll air in the USA later this year on PBS.
The first four seasons of Poldark are available on DVD on Amazon.
