‘Poldark’ returning cast confirmed: Who’ll be back in final season?

The fifth season of Poldark is filming now and the BBC has confirmed which cast members will return.

Production began earlier this month in Cornwall and Bristol on the period drama’s last ever episodes.

Aidan Turner and Eleanor Tomlinson will be back as Ross and Demelza Poldark.

They’ll be joined by Jack Farthing as George Warleggan, Luke Norris as Dr Dwight Enys, Gabriella Wilde as Caroline Enys, Ellise Chappell as Morwenna Carne, Harry Richardson as Drake Carne, Tom York as Sam Carne, and Beatie Edney as Prudie.

Several brand new cast members have also been announced.

Sofia Oxenham (Grantchester), Lily Dodsworth Evans (Genius), Kerri McLean (Electric Dreams), Vincent Regan (300), Peter Sullivan (Entebbe) and Freddie Wise (Maleficent 2) will all appear as new characters.

Their roles will be revealed at a later date.

Season 5 is set to air in the UK in summer 2019 on BBC One.

The first three seasons of Poldark are available to buy on DVD now.

Season 4 premieres in the USA at 9/8c on Sunday 30th September on Masterpiece on PBS.
