Our main trio from the first season will all be reprising their roles, with Michelle Keegan (Fool Me Once), Faye Marsay (Game of Thrones), and Warren Brown (Luther) returning as Kate, Annie and Terry.
Also returning in Season 2 will be Aussie actors Rob Collins (Mystery Road; Firebite) as Ron, Leon Ford (Elvis) as Bill, Declan Coyle (Life Of Jess) as Stevie, Stephen Curry (The Castle) as JJ, and Hattie Hook (Savage River) as Pattie.

“After a challenging first year in Australia, the new series will follow nurse Kate Thorne and the Roberts family into 1957 on their adventure down under, as they are determined to make this new country everything they hoped it would be for a fresh start,” a new synopsis teases.
We’re also told that the second season of Ten Pound Poms will introduce some new characters, including the Skinner family, “fresh off the boat from Ireland,” and an unscrupulous landlord called Benny Bates.
Season 2 is expected to premiere in late 2024 on BBC One and streaming on BBC iPlayer in the UK, and on Stan in Australia.
“I fell in love with Australia last season, so I’m delighted to be heading back there with Danny, Faye, Michelle and Warren,” commented executive producer Joel Wilson.
“We’re delighted to take BBC viewers back to Australia for more sunshine with Ten Pound Poms series two,” added the BBC’s Director of Drama, Lindsay Salt.
“With Michelle Keegan, Faye Marsay and Warren Brown returning to lead the cast, and some fantastic new characters and stories from the brilliant Danny Brocklehurst, there’s so much more for our ‘Poms’ to discover Down Under…” she said.
