2023’s celebrities line-up revealed for ‘The Great Celebrity Bake Off’

Channel 4 has announced which famous faces will be taking part in this year’s The Great Celebrity Bake Off.

Airing soon as part of Stand Up to Cancer 2023, the new season will see 20 celebrities compete for the title of a Star Baker while helping fund cancer research.

Stand Up To Cancer is an annual national fundraising campaign run by Cancer Research UK and Channel 4.

Returning hosts Noel Fielding and Matt Lucas (in his final season before he leaves!) will welcome the celebrity bakers into the Bake Off tent, where they’ll be trying to impress Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith in the signature, technical and showstopper challenges.

Who are the celebrities?

Coming up we’ll see Friends star David Schwimmer, Deborah Meaden from Dragons’ Den, actor David Morrissey, Olympic gold medallist Tom Daley, and Up the Women actress Jessica Hynes.

They’ll be joined by TV presenter Paddy McGuinness, TV personality Coleen Nolan, New Zealand comedian Rose Matafeo, Little Mix singer Jesy Nelson, comedian Tom Davis, media personality Gemma Collins, Strictly Come Dancing contestant Judi Love, TV presenter Jay Blades, and comedian Ellie Taylor.

Also appearing are Alan Partridge regular Tim Key, comedian Mike Wozniak, TV presenter AJ Odudu, The Inbetweeners star Joe Thomas, writer Lucy Beaumont, and radio presenter Adele Roberts.

Bringing the UK together to speed up progress in life-saving cancer research, Stand Up To Cancer has raised over £93 million in the UK to date.

When does it start?

The Great Celebrity Bake Off is expected to return on Channel 4 in the UK at 7.45pm on Sunday 19th March 2023.

In the US, it’ll most likely premiere on Netflix at a later date.
