‘The Last Kingdom’ stars reveal Season 4 update in hilarious video – watch!

The fate of The Last Kingdom has been confirmed in a very funny video clip.

Set in the late 9th century AD, when England is divided into seven separate kingdoms, the epic historical drama series is based on the Saxon Stories novels by English author Bernard Cornwell.

Having previously aired on BBC Two in the UK and on BBC America in the USA, a third season of The Last Kingdom debuted exclusively on Netflix last November.

Netflix is clearly happy with audience figures for the latest season, as star Alexander Dreymon (who plays Uhtred of Bebbanburg) recently posted this amusing video online:

Season 4 is expected to arrive on Netflix in late 2019.

The Last Kingdom tells the story of a Saxon man, raised by Danes, who must choose a side and play his part in the birth of a nation, alongside King Alfred the Great.

Season 1 is available on DVD on Amazon.
