‘Victoria’ trailer revealed: Watch emotional new one-minute preview for Season 2
ITV has released a brand new trailer for the second season of Victoria and it looks like there’s heartbreaking times ahead for the young Queen.
The 60-second preview features Jenna Coleman (Doctor Who) and Tom Hughes (The Game) returning as Victoria and Prince Albert.
Filming started in February on eight new episodes and a Christmas special.
The trailer includes the first look at Dame Diana Rigg (Game of Thrones, The Avengers) as the Duchess of Bucchleuch. The young Queen’s new Mistress of the Robes, the character is apparently “renowned for speaking her mind.”
Other new guest stars will include Denis Lawson (New Tricks), Martin Compston (Line of Duty), Emerald Fennell (Call the Midwife), Jo Stone-Fewings (The Hollow Crown), Leo Suter (Maleficent) and Michael Maloney (Paranoid).

Victoria launched in the UK last autumn and premiered in the US earlier this year. Season 1 is available now on DVD.
Season 2 begins in the UK on ITV this autumn and will air in the US on Masterpiece on PBS from January 2018.
The new episodes will begin in 1840, with Victoria pregnant with the couple’s second child, conceived just one month after the birth of daughter Vicky.
