When does ‘Vienna Blood’ start on PBS in the US?
New period crime drama Vienna Blood will premiere in the US next month.
Adapted from the best-selling Liebermann novels by Frank Tallis by Sherlock writer Steve Thompson, the mini-series launched in the UK last month to positive reviews from critics.
Vienna Blood is set in 1900s Austria, starring Matthew Beard (The Imitation Game), Conleth Hill (Game of Thrones), Charlene McKenna (Ripper Street) and Amelia Bullmore (Gentleman Jack).
The first episode airs at 10/9c on Sunday 19th January on PBS.
It will continue on Sunday evenings until Sunday 23rd February.

The official synopsis reads: “Max Liebermann (Matthew Beard) is a brilliant young English doctor, studying under the famed psychoanalyst Sigmund Freud. When Max comes into contact with Oskar Rheinhardt (Juergen Maurer), an Austrian Detective Inspector struggling with a strange case, he offers his assistance.
“Max’s extraordinary skills of perception and forensics, and his deep understanding of human behaviour and deviance, help Oskar solve some of Vienna’s most mysterious and deadly cases.”
