‘Outlander’ start date confirmed for Season 4 on Starz in the US
Starz has officially announced when the new season of Outlander will begin in the US.
Almost 11 months after the third season concluded, Caitriona Balfe and Sam Heughan will finally return to our screens on Sunday 4 November.
The new 13-episode season is based on the fourth book in author Diana Gabaldon’s Outlander series, titled Drums of Autumn.
Sam Heughan, who plays Jamie, teased: “There’s a lot that we’ve had to squash into one season, so it’s jam-packed.”

Hinting at what to expect this season, Outlander star Caitriona Balfe revealed: “It’s a whole new world, because we are in America. It’s Colonial times, it’s pre-revolution, Claire and Jamie are settlers in a new land.”
Season 4 will be available on Amazon Prime Video in the UK; most likely the day following US broadcast. The episodes will then air on More4 at a later date.
The first three seasons of Outlander are available to buy on DVD now on Amazon.
Starz renewed Outlander for two more seasons earlier this year, adapting the fifth and sixth books in Gabaldon’s series.
