When does ‘The Durrells’ Season 3 start?

It looks like The Durrells fans won’t have to wait too much longer until the new season begins.

Based upon Gerald Durrell’s classic trilogy of Corfu memoirs, the family drama series will be returning to UK screens with more episodes than ever before, set in 1937.

Actor Josh O’Connor, who plays Lawrence Durrell in the show, has told Good Morning Britain: “The Durrells is coming back soon, very soon.”

The Durrells launched on ITV in April 2016, telling the story of Louisa Durrell, who decides to uproot her family from Bournemouth to start a new life in Corfu.

Season 3 will see Louisa choose to focus on her family, having decided to give up searching for love, while Larry is struggling to write his third novel, Margo is in search of a new vocation and Gerry continues to grow his menagerie.

Season 1 and Season 2 are available to buy on DVD now.

The third season of The Durrells in Corfu will air in the US later this year on PBS.
