Acorn TV confirms when ‘All Creatures’ Season 4 will be added
It’s been confirmed when the latest season of All Creatures Great and Small is streaming!
Based on author James Herriot’s much-loved collection of stories, a fourth run of the cosy period drama has been airing in the UK this autumn.
The emotional finale aired on Channel 5 last week and, if you’ve been waiting to binge-watch the whole new season in one go, then we’ve got a Christmas treat for you.
All six episodes from Season 4 will be available to stream on Acorn TV from Monday 25 December.
Watch the trailer here:
The fourth season of All Creatures Great and Small finds James and Helen wondering whether the time is right to start a family, not knowing if James will be called up to serve in the Royal Air Force.
Meanwhile, Tristan is off to war and his absence is felt by all, but no one more than Siegfried who attempts to hold the growing household, and himself, together as he braves this new world.
Elsewhere, Mrs. Hall and Helen’s friendship blossoms as they look to the future, and new trainee veterinary student Richard Carmody arrives, causing complications.
We’re anxiously awaiting news on the possibility of a fifth season renewal as there’s been no official confirmation on the show’s future yet.
While this doesn’t necessarily mean that All Creatures Great and Small is ending, it could mean that the series will be going on hiatus for a while.
Fortunately, we do know that an already-filmed 2023 festive special will be airing next month on Channel 5 in the week before Christmas.
The makers of All Creatures are also working on a brand new period drama set in the 1890s, based on CL Skelton’s best-selling The Hardacre Saga novels.
Described as “a bold, gutsy ensemble family drama full of heart,” The Hardacres is set to premiere on Channel 5 in 2024.
The original version of All Creatures Great and Small is available to watch on BritBox with a free 7-day trial!
