The Gold will be released internationally on Paramount+ later this year.

Here’s a plot recap for the third episode, ‘The Consequences are Mine’, which is streaming on BBC iPlayer now and premieres on BBC One at 9pm on Sunday 26th February 2023:

DCI Boyce (Hugh Bonneville) sets up surveillance on Noye’s (Jack Lowden) house in Kent.

The surveillance team is led by John Fordham (Hadley Fraser). The team follow Brian Reader (James Nelson-Joyce) from Noye’s house to Scadlynn Gold Merchants in Bristol, owned by John Palmer (Tom Cullen) and Garth Chappell (Robin Laing).

Osborne (Daniel Ings) visits Scadlynn for a VAT inspection and learns they are claiming the gold has been imported from a Sierra Leone gold mine by Hatton Garden gold trader Matteo Constantino (Vernon Dobtcheff).

Jennings (Charlotte Spencer) and Brightwell (Emun Elliott) travel to Sierra Leone and confirm there is no mine.

Boyce knows that Noye is a Freemason and close to many officers of the Kent police force, so the surveillance is kept secret from the local force.

Boyce coordinates an operation to arrest Noye and Reader with the gold, along with raids on Palmer, Chappell and Constantino. Chappell and Constantino are arrested but Palmer has disappeared.

Fordham and his partner Neil Murphy (Chris Coghill) are ordered into Noye’s garden. Noye, in his house, hears his dogs’ bark. Boyce arrives to chaos. A body is loaded into an ambulance.

Boyce and Noye finally come face to face.

Both seasons of Guilt are available to watch on Amazon Prime Video.
